The world is drinking more again after the two rough years of the pandemic and in 2022 Brazil is expected to tie or slightly surpass 2019 in cachaça exports.

Data from the Brazilian Institute of Cachaça (Ibrac) show that brandy factories exported 22.04% more in volume, almost what was exported in every year of the covid 19 crisis, which paralyzed the planet.

In terms of revenue, Carlos Lima, president of the entity, refers to US$ 14.47 million, also practically touching that year.

About 2021, respectively, the increases were 22.04% and 53.87%.

As for the domestic market, data from the annual report on alcoholic beverages by Euromonitor International, a global leader in providing market research, recently released by IBRAC, considering the comparison between 2021 and 2020, point to a growth of 30% in value (R$ 15 .55 billion), and 18% in volume (469,725.2 million liters).
