Imports without barriers

The development of new technologies has facilitated the process of economic integration between countries, bringing business closer. Today, regardless of size, any company can buy goods and services from all over the world, with lower prices and timely resources to your organization. The situation is the opportunity for small and medium-sized companies to operate in the intermediation of this consumption, offering foreign products in Brazil.

When working with imports, Micro and Small Enterprises (SMEs), for example, can achieve low costs of acquiring goods or raw materials. In this way, taking as a benefit the product's time will be shorter than the period it would take with domestic manufacturing, optimizing processes and boosting results.

However we know that internationalization, like any other change in the business, also poses risks if done without planning. So if a brand wants to import it needs to be targeted early to market research.

It is indispensable to analyze in detail the external numbers, considering the market in which the company is inserted, segment of performance, target audience, competition and products. In addition, it is necessary to have knowledge about the international trade to make good purchases, as well as about the internal consumer to make the sales.

It is important to say that, when deciding on international action, companies should keep their feet on the ground. They need to understand that the biggest market is not always the best one to invest in. Minors can often be more beneficial, especially to those who are starting the process of internationalization.

Also, in order not to get your feet in your hands, it is best to draw up a business plan. The company needs to surround itself with reliable information, taking into account strategies, trade barriers, bureaucracy and legislation. Only in this way is it possible to have well-defined steps without risk of stagnation in processes that can take the goal down.
